Fairly straight forward thread. Post your answer(s) if someone asked you what you would do if you were rich.
I for one, would be sure to pay off all 2500$ of my debt, then maybe get a house on a lake. Make sure all my family is taken care of the best I can, then look to my friends and places I like. Probly buy out the bar and change things around so business didnt suck so much.

2:08pm - March 28 2009you could in some ways do that anyway Necro. Myself I would have a similar idea but cash is not your only form of negotiation when you own that much land and have the potential to grow so many crops. Barter is very efficient as a long term answer to avoiding money altogether.
As for me I owe nothing. No debt I just pay my rent every month if you want to count that as owed debt. For that matter I make no illusions about the fact that I want to forever avoid owing a dime to any institution. We will see if that can happen.

8:43pm - January 01 2009I would buy lots of land out in the middle of nowhere. 100+ acres would do probably. Build a self sufficient house. Probably grow most of my own food and get some fancy satellite internet so i'm not totally cut off from the outside world. Probably pay for the rest of my girlfriends schooling let her get a bunch of animals, dogs, goats, horses, cows etc...
I don't think i would even try to pay off my debts. I think I got around 5,000 to 10,000 in debts from various companys and the government. If i was rich I could just buy everything in cash so I wouldn't care if I was in debt. I wouldn't ever need to get a loan or credit card right?
