Well, actually I don't do any flash programming at all, so that isn't a problem for me.
There isn't anything that can stand up against Adobe Photoshop on Linux. The GIMP is a really weak competitor that can't do a hundredth of what Photoshop has, and it is really unintuitive and more complicated than it needs to be. Needless to say, I actually don't do much at all with graphic creation anymore. I can pull of simple resizings, color changes and crops with GIMP without a problem, but if I am doing to do something really flashy or complicated I just cry and whine about how I don't have anything.
Well, actually, I just installed a Windows partition a couple weeks back since I needed to in order to run itunes. Because of this, I can just reboot (dual boot) to get into Windows and tinker with Photoshop.
I really haven't been using Photoshop or graphics programs much at all in the past year.
That is another reason I'd like to get a Mac; I assume Photoshop is present on Mac since I know Macs were generally known in the beginning for graphic programs.
