Check it out here on myspace! This is a metal tour featuring (in order from headliner to opener) Tyr (Folk/Prog Metal), Alestorm (Scottish Heavy Pirate Metal), and Suidakra (Celtic Influenced Metal).

I went to both the Orlando and Tallahassee shows since I've been a long time fan of Suidakra (thanks to Necro showing me them lol). I had the pleasure of hanging out with them as well as everyone else on their tour since I became friends with Arkadius (Suidakra's front man) on myspace and it was a total blast! They and the guys in Alestorm and Tyr are really awesome people and love hanging out with their fans so if you get to check them out, make sure you say hey to them!

I can't wait 'til I get some pics back from them since we had a good two days of randomness while they were in Florida and hopefully it'd inspire you guys to check them out and see why I bothered to type this up. =)

*shrug* That's what makes you Necromaster though lmao! I've always been a music eclect of sorts so I find 90% of all the music I ever got into, phase or not, still has listenability. I've always had a passion for music and even as a musician, once I genuwinely like a band it'd take a lot for me to simply grow out of it. =) ~~~~~~~~~~ .:Jay:.

Maybe i just need to get wasted lol. I'm just a music nazi. I like what i like and shit on everything else. haha I've always been that way though. I can't even stand listening to a lot of what i used to like 3, 4, 5, 6 plus years ago. I have the worst taste in music at least looking back over the years. A few years from now i'll probably look back at say the same thing about the music i listen to now. lol

That's so messed up lol. We all have our opinions I suppose. I listen to all sorts of music especially in the metal genre but I appreciate the simplicity of their music. It has the same spirit to me as Hanzel und Gretyl and Finntroll which are also some of my favorite bands to listen to while drinking. I reviewed their album on my site. i think i gave it a 1 out of 5 haha. honestly i don't even remember what they sound like. I listened to the CD maybe 3 times and wrote a small review. Never looked back.

Fair enough. Just saying they're not trying to be one of those douche bands that think they're the shit. They're actually very humble and awesome individuals. I enjoy the music even if it's not super unique but it's easy to get into, fun to sing along to and do a jig even. All that matters to me when it comes to the music is the fact that it brings genuwine metal heads together and keeps snobs away. Nothing is more fun than throwing around good friends, chugging beer, and singing along to pirate lyrics! ~~~~~~~~~~ .:Jay:.

*chuckles* Oh Necro... You haven't changed a bit haha. And yes you did get me into Suidakra. You sent me 'Pendragon's Fall' *aeons* ago and I was hooked since. Great guys in that band and amazing musicians at that. Sucks you hate Alestorm so much. They're just a buncha cool dudes havin' fun. They're not trying to be 'kvlt' or anything but they do make good music that's fun to get trashed to. Every single member of that band is a stunning case of awesomeness so it sucks for me to hear you hate them that much. I showed you Suidakra? When i seen the bands on the tour i was like Suidakra? never heard of them. But i guess i did. haha I fucking hate alestorm. One of the worst bands i've heard from last year. tyr i havent listened to much. I find there are far to many pagan/viking bands out there now a days. It has become a huge metal fad. The bands i do like are more black metal underground stuff that only uses a bit of the pagan/viking themes. Finsterforst (http://www.myspace.com/finsterforst) is a band i started listening to lately. Thyrfing (http://www.myspace.com/thyrfingbandg) has been a favorite of mine for many years. Asthor (http://www.myspace.com/asathorviking) is another band i'v liked lately.

I'm liking Alestorm, a lot! I'll take a look at Tyr in a bit, seems interesting mix,metal+prog+folk. in theory i should like it, as i'm a fan of all 3 types of music, but we'll see... ~~~~~~~~~~ I am the human race's worst nightmare.
