| | | Granted the show was about "nothing", the thing that I think was so great about it was the multitude of social observations. Things that, up until that time, many people never thought about or talked about became magnified in a comedic manner.
I can't argue with anyone who thinks any or all of the four stars were annoying, as they were very distinct personalities, and that always increases the likelihood of rubbing off on people the wrong way.
I'm not trying to defend it to those who don't like it, because I know everyone has a different taste, but what I can say is that the reason I like it so much more than other sitcoms is because of all the social commentary. But even then, I can see how much of that may not be all that interesting or entertaining to some folks.~~~~~~~~~~ "In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand, at the mongrel dogs who teach, fearing not I'd become my enemy, in the instant that I preach. My existence led by confusion boats, mutiny from stern to bow. Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now." - Bob Dylan
