Don't get me wrong I have had times where I titter or laugh a little at it I just never really could get into it myself.... and then with the people around here who are they make it into such an awfully stupid sitcom. I mean there is a thing that was on the university campus not too long ago that was a whole R/V filled with memorabelia and it was just so stupid. Otherwise it would just be like any other sitcom if not for the other fans. Thats my only thing with it.

Granted the show was about "nothing", the thing that I think was so great about it was the multitude of social observations. Things that, up until that time, many people never thought about or talked about became magnified in a comedic manner.

I can't argue with anyone who thinks any or all of the four stars were annoying, as they were very distinct personalities, and that always increases the likelihood of rubbing off on people the wrong way.

I'm not trying to defend it to those who don't like it, because I know everyone has a different taste, but what I can say is that the reason I like it so much more than other sitcoms is because of all the social commentary. But even then, I can see how much of that may not be all that interesting or entertaining to some folks.

Seinfeld does suck. It was a show about nothing. And that was it's brilliance! The only reason people hate Seinfeld is because a couple people became multi-frickin-millionaires for nothing and the world gobbled that shit up! Haters are just jealous. Me too. I'm no exception. I hated that show so much, I watched it. It's the equivalent of making a TV show about all the shit you talk about when you're high.

And as much as I hated the series finale, it contained my favorite minor character. The fat bastard guy who got robbed while they video taped it and did commentary.

I love Seinfeld and own all the seasons on DVD. I like Newman a lot, but Uncle Leo and David Puddy is funny as hell too.
