What are awards?
Tainted Thoughts has an "awards" system, which may be reminiscent of Playstation Network's trophy system or Xbox 360's achievement system (if you've ever gamed that is).
Basically, you earn honors for different things you do on the site. The system is an incentive for recognizing active members and making specific contributions or efforts. Some awards can be easily gained, while many others will only be achievable by being active on Tainted Thoughts for a long period of time.
There are public awards, and there are secret awards. Public awards are those which are clearly and openly advertised, while secret awards are not mentioned in the awards listing, and their name and reason for being awarded is only known when it is "unlocked".
Additionally, each award can reward any number of AP, so earning awards also contributes to your rank.
How to get them?
Just look over the award list to see a description of how each award is obtained. Some are very black and white, while others have a more ambiguous meaning that our award committee decides on.
If there is an award you feel that you should have earned, please contact us.
Some awards are secrets, so you won't know how to get them until you already have them! 
How to recommend more?
If you have an idea for an award we should have, you are encouraged to recommend it to us! Even recommending an award to us, which we end up using, will result in you earning an award.
