I'm personally in a bit of a fork in the road because I like to stick to vegetarian foods, I try to avoid meat most of the time. In fact, I don't have any desire to eat it most of the time. I haven't eaten red meat for months because I've been extremely sick whenever I do. To the point that during the night I will force myself to my grandmas room, blacking out on the way and crying. That's how sick it makes my body. That, and I believe a mix of birth control. Although sometimes I will occasionally eat a bit of chicken or seafood, but thats very unusual. I don't like to lie about being vegetarian but in certain situations I feel I have to (which I haven't much so far) but I really don't want to eat meat. I do sometimes though, and I think that's ok. I believe way more (if your going to eat meat) in the customs that people in many tribes and unknown places do, where the animals roam free and aren't harmed excessively for their meat.
We're animals, we eat each other, its part of the food chain. My brother is a big meat eater (very different from myself) but I agree with him on this. I believe its part of our instinct, although yes, we can survive without eating it, in most cases.
I love all animals and living organisms on this earth with a passion, including plants. Although I'm mostly on vegetarian diet, I have a belief (that apparently Indians had) about eating me. I believe if I do need to eat a little of it in my life, whatever I eat is going to help me flourish and live in me for the rest of my life. Its going to give me energy and help me thrive. Its always going to be a part of me, the one I eat. Personally if I was starving and I saw a animal dying of starvation (although it would be hard and unimaginable) I would probably kill the animal to end its pain (if it lead to it) and eat it to give me energy and help me to thrive. Than it would be a part of me for the rest of my live, it would live in my blood, it wouldn't rot in the ground and become decaying meat for birds near by to peck on. Those are my beliefs.
The meat industries are so cruel, that I can't help but think of other animals like ourselves who are tortured and have the most horrible deaths I could imagine. Worse than many human deaths in my opinion. We're all animals though, and we are ALL afraid when death is an option. It drives me crazy when people say they aren't afraid of anything, in their cases, just wait!
Its quite strange to me (not being a hypocrite, im practically vegetarian but have my own opinions, like everyone else) how vegetarians and vegans complain of killing animals for meat, while their killing plants to eat. Isn't that strange to anyone? Ripping off the heads of screaming plants, plants who scientifically proven happen to use emotion, feel a sense of pain, and also who drink water up when thirsty and thrive when talked to? That sounds pretty animal like to me. The thing is, we all have to eat something. I don't believe anyone needs to eat meat, and in fact I don't believe its healthy in most cases. But we have to eat something, and plants are another thing that thrive on the Earth. Something that people don't think anything about. I just think people are somewhat hypocritical when mentioning whats murder and whats not. Killing any living organism can be considered murder, but in some cases it can also be considered life. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not accusing every vegetarian/vegan of thinking this way. In fact, its fine if you never even thought of this. I love when people are vegetarians, vegans and a small majority of meat eaters (mainly from other counties). Sometimes people just don't realize what their eating or how it came to their plants. I understand when most of us are younger, we're raised with eating meat, we never realize anything about it. Same with any other living thing.
Its fine if someone doesn't agree with me, but you have to admit its an interesting thought!
P.S. The same goes for Cannibalism, as strange as that sounds. IF someone was seriously on the brink of death and didn't want to live any longer, I would probably (as strange and morbid as this may sound) eat a part of them if I was also dying. Its the same of eating any other meat. It gives you life to thrive, and it will always be a part of you, not rotting in the road and being eaten of by crows. --- "My Veiw on Meat" has been viewed times ---
