I tend to use different names pretty much everywhere, and i, too, tend to change them up every few years or so, depending on how attached i am to a name & what i like at the time..

the only name i really tend to 'vary' is PoyzenGirl (which is sometimes PoisonGirl or PoisonGrrl, depending on what is taken).

other names.. other names.. i use so many sometimes i lose track! but the past few years ive been using poyzeneyev or VortexKitty or PoyzenGirl.

PoyzenGirl is because Poison Girl by HIM is one of my favorite songs.
poyzeneyev (poison ivy) was thought up by an old friend on another website for me when i was switching names and couldn't think of anything else.
VortexKitty is thanks to my cat. the day we brought him home, he 'vanished' and i tore my house apart (even pulling EVERYTHING out of my walk in closets) trying to find him, until i was in tears because i didn't know where he was and then i heard him meowing through the door of the same closet i had just torn apart 30 minutes earlier, so my husband and i said he had just 'gone into a vortex' and came back when he heard we missed him.. haha.

i never use my real name online either.. well except for facebook, but that's only because i had no idea that was the name that it was going to use.

lol, I used to have multiple accounts here on TT, way back before I settled on Neglection, I can't even remember what my old names were. They probably got purged when Lev took the site down way back in the day.

It was already taken. Imperator was also taken and Imperitor was taken too. So i ended up with Imperitor666.

Any particular reason why you chose it or go by it?
I came up with this like perhaps 6 years ago, before that I used to go with different version of Kevlar or Kevlarsoul which was a song I liked back then (thankfully that changed. haha) NeroAnima is basically two italian words and I "came" up with it cause I wanted something I could use all the time that wasn't taken.

Do you feel like the name you chose represents you in one way or another?
It probably did back in the days but things change so I wouldn't say that much anymore.

I started using Necromaster when I signed up for TT back in 2001ish. I've used that as my main online name almost everywhere. Sometimes i'll used Necromaster859 if it is already taken.

I've also use Corruption and Imperitor sometimes. If I've been banned.

For me it's Lev (if I am lucky), UncleLev, and it used to be SirLev and TaintedLev.

On drug forums, I sometimes use completely different and unique names to retain a level of anonymity.

I have a few.
Nowadays, when I sign up in places I try to use my real name or a version of it. Either Britt, BrittyK, Brittany or BrittanyK.

Butttt, if I don't use those, I either use 'ataraxis' or 'pandemoniac'. Funnily enough, the complete opposites of each other and I didn't realize it til I made this post.

I've never had just one alias online. I've always had multiple, and I've always changed them out every few years.

Just this one. I hate inconsistancy in naming. I just like one alias as much as I can help it. I vary all my screen names to be different number combos because of the fact xcom is usually taken.

I shortened excommunicated to get mine. Only to later find out an early video game was called this too. I feel it fits my investigative and sometimes uncharacteristic attitude about things though. That and everyone probably couldn't really see me with another name by this long in.
