I have a little tree growing in my office!

I bought this a few days back.. a little Bonsai (or a Japanese Elm to be precise)... This pic is taken from after I took it home, and as you can see I haven't even begun to prune it.

I keep it on my desk (on a shelf area with the router, above my monitor), since this area keeps a nice consistent temperature and gets suitable, but not too much, light.

I'm not sure how hard they are to maintain, but from the description, they look quite easy to take care of. They tolerate temperatures in the range of 15-25 Celsius, and don't mind some direct light.

Fortunately, I apparently don't need to replant it for 3 years, which is good because the replanting part looks the most intimidating, since you are to cut off much of the root system as well (which is something I've never done with any plant).

Looks like a happy little tree in the Bob Ross sense of the words. Good luck with maintaining it!
