Pig man, pig man - haha, charade you are!
Yesterday I got to pick up some of the things the Swedish piggies took from me. The copper who retrieved my stuff from the storage building really didn't like me, despite my friendly and courteous behavior. This is partly due to the fact that all of the items he was retrieving probably made him think a bunch of bullshit about me, and he probably wasn't too keen on the fact that I have a marijuana patch on my jacket, a marijuana key chain hanging from my pocket and a "legalize cannabis" button on my jacket.
(the button and the patch I actually put on my jacket AFTER I got busted, as an act of protest and way of saying "though you're punishing me, I am not intimidated and will not bend")
After the police ransacked my home (without a warrant *or* permission), they took my BB gun, homemade tazer, tactical mask and green laser pen - all of which were completely unrelated to their suspicions for even violating my privacy (which was the assumption I had drugs at home, with no evidence at all even to support that).
They took these four, well - I should say three (gun, mask, tazer) - things to put a charge of "planned robbery" on me; based solely on the fact that I OWN a BB gun and tactical mask. Hardcore detective work, eh? The homemade tazer is a complete joke that they could even care about, considering it's just something I wired myself using an electric fly swatter. The green laser they took solely out of bitterness, since Sweden outlawed public laser use a couple years ago AFTER SOMEONE SHINED A LASER AT A COP (I swear to everything holy, *this* was the justification for outlawing lasers here). Green lasers were especially effected as any green laser more powerful than 5 mW became illegal simply to even own in your own home. These clowns didn't seem to care about the fact that the laser itself was clearly marked as "< 5mW"; I told them that during the interview at the station and they told me they were going to run some "test" on it in a lab. It doesn't work at the moment, which I am hoping is just the result of dead batteries, because if they broke it while trying to determine if it was kosher, I'll be quite pissed.
I got all this stuff back now because a few weeks ago I got a letter from the police department saying they were dropping the charge of planned robbery. Geeee, I wonder why? - maybe it's because you actually have to have some real evidence that would suggest that (otherwise, they should just go to the military supply shop where I bought the mask at, and charge the owner with planning a war - same logic).
It's funny how they put each of the items in their own baggies with a description and bar code - or maybe I just think that because I've never seen "police evidence" first hand like that.
Sweden's criminal justice system seems to come off to me now as "charge everyone, ask questions later". I base this not only on my own personal experience but the experience a friend of mine encountered here as well (with falsely being charged with burglary). It's insane to think of how much TAX money is wasted on presumptuous allegations, then and later retractions and often financial compensation.
Now if only I can get some of my other stuff back they took related to the cultivation (such as some expensive Bayer plant pills to kill pests, a digital PH meter, a digital PPM meter and countless other items I would like to have back). I kinda doubt I'll get much of that stuff back though since I know those charges will go through, and then the returning of evidence may be different.
I'm gonna try and sell my gun on ebay or tradera since I'd like to make some extra money and get rid of some stuff to lighten my load for moving. If you're in Sweden and want to buy the gun off me for like 1/3 of what I paid for it, let me know; otherwise I'll post an auction for it (probably only to Sweden since it is heavy to ship).

Its cool that you finally got your shit back, and that they are dropping the charges, though.
yeah, definitely. it is such a relief in that respect!
