I successfully boot legged my first DVD today. I have had the software for a minuite, but I just never did it. It is V for Vendeta. That is prolly one of my favorite movies, it is political which I like, and it has that taint of comic book surealism. I think it is a well made movie, makes me want to go and real the original.
So some software that I used was:
DVD Shrink, DVD Decryptor (Both free(not pirated free))
Actually I think that was it, I could have used AL120, but I decided to go with the DVD combo there. Except it takes an ass long time. Perhaps because my laptop has a max write capacity of 4x, but it is DVD+RW so I was satisfied.
I have successfully burned several data backup CD's though, which are legal, or would be if I had bought the software to begin with.
So, what are your experiences with boot legging? What did you use, do you do it often, do you use a label maker for your DVD's? Tell me all of your dirty little secrets.

4:39pm - May 25 2007I download everything... music, programs, games, movies, etc. Hell even my OS is a Warez copy. I like
www.torrentspy.com and
www.isohunt.com and patches from
www.gamecopyworld.com as well as serials from
www.serials.ws
Those are my tips anyway.

I download mostly documentaries and informational films. Oh and
video games, cant deny the games.
There are alot of movies I would probably watch, but wouldnt bother downloading, mostly because of the limited storage space I have, but hopefully that will be fixed soon as thechnology keeps getting cheaper.
You seriously dont like watching movies? Most movies I will admit are a waste of time, but it is kind of amazing the ammount of research and money goes into making the movie slide more easily into your brain with more precision. It is kind of depriving to make yourself miss the emotional hammer of some movies because of the painfully dull nail of some action movies.

I find it much easier just to download them already as isos or imgs. fortunately DC seems to have me covered for that. if only there was something i felt was worth watching...

10:15pm - August 15 2006Oh yeah, DVD shrink makes DVD's small enough to fit on a 4.7GB DVD, and DVD Decoder decodes those stubborn copyrighted DVD's.
