Here's a little helpful guide to let you know how you can get stoned out of your head without even smoking cannabis. I'm providing this simple method (which is very well-known and used) to provide an alternative to smoking your natural herbs. This is helpful for people who want to experience cannabis without the physical harms of inhaling smoke.
Here's what you need:
1 ounce of shake (leafs, stems and other non-flower parts of the cannabis plant) OR 5+ grams of potent marijuana buds OR 5 grams of hashish.
1 pound of butter (NOT MARGERINE!!!)
Turn on the stove on a low heat (simmer). Let the butter slowly melt; make sure not to have the heat up too high. As the butter is melting pour in your herb.
If you are cooking with hash it's much easier because there isn't much you have to do. Simply let the hash melt and dissolve into the butter. Stir the butter with hash mixture until it is all well dissolved. Turn off the heat and let the butter re-solidify. Then put the butter back into a container and let it stay in the fridge until you want to use it for cooking.
If you are are cooking with shake or marijuana flowers simply make sure the herb is well bathed in the butter for about 5-10 minutes. Then get a sieve and sift out the herb (flowers or shake) and throw away the marijauana. If you are doing this correctly the THC should now be dissolved into the fat from the butter. You don't need to save the herb as the THC has been extracted from the plant and dissolved into the butter. Let the butter cool down and re-solidify. Then simply pop it in a container and save it for when you want to cook with it.
You now should have a pound of cannabutter! Because THC is fat-solluable, it dissolves into the fat of the butter (this is why you should not use margerine, because butter has a much higher fat percentage). Now simply use this butter as you would normally with any recipes you have. Use it in brownies, cookies, cakes or whatever your little heart desires. It can be used from anything from cakes and desserts to dinners. I love baking it into my homemad pizza dough!
Not only is eating THC an effective way of using cannabis, but it often is much MORE effective. You can get twice as stoned simply from eating your herb if you use the cannabutter technique. The more pot you put into the mixture, the more stoned you will get. Remember that orally consuming cannabis is a slower process of getting stoned. Unlike smoking it, you will not be instantly high, so you should be very aware of this. It can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours before you will feel the full effects of the pot kicking in your system since the digestion process and time it takes to be drawn into your blood stream is longer. This doesn't mean however that it isn't worth it. You can get really really stoned.
I baked a pizza a couple hours ago which contained only 50 grams of the cannabutter and I ate only one quarter of the pizza and got quite stoned after 20 minutes and I can still feel it kicking in more and more.
If you have a weak stomach make sure not to eat too much too quickly because you won't realize how high it will make you until later! It's better to take it slowly then consume too much and puke later.

I don't do drugs...I don't smoke pot...but god damn that is fuckin' tempting. Food already makes me feel good. It's my friend. Now, add something that gets you extremely high. *Orgasm* I'm going to make some Cannabutter and slip it into the butter dish in every family members house. *Grins* That should be a hoot. HA! Lev, where do you get this information? I mean, you have it all down. That's kinda' crazy. I always knew you could do that, but I wasn't sure how exactly. You answered all my questions. Such a great person you are.
