I should hope not! You can't beat a proper book, the smell and feel of the pages, the ease on the eyes.

But, with the emergence of this battle between ebook readers like Kindle and Readius, I'm not so sure we won't see the end of the beloved paperbacks and hardbacks we love so much.

Nope, not going to happen... but it was for me because I'm cheap and I can steal e-books.

i pretty much figured that it was nothing but a book on the computer, but yea...

but that's the problem with people today. everything is going electronic and nobody is having to leave their seat for anything. it's quite sad. but that's not the point.

it *is* great to see that so many people (at least on this forum) feel that ebooks will not replace paper books.
Paper books trump electronic books no matter what the subject matter! And they're better for your eyes

Ebook = an electronical version of a book for those who don't know. It's basically a huge PDF or DOC file that contains an entire book.

I also prefer "old fashioned" books myself. Reading on the computer is fine for a thing here or there or when I need to check something up, but I don't like to read hours in a row from the computer screen.

Even when it comes to books regarding computers or programming I will always take a physical book over an electronic one.

i know this is old.. but anyhow..

ebooks.. i'd never heard of them till this poll, but i don't think ill ever take an ebook over a regular book..
i prefer regular "old fashioned" books that i can take about with me and not have to worry about lugging around an expensive laptop or something of the type.
but that's me.
