We just learned yesterday that our outgoing email wasn't sending through Thunderbird. After checking in on our ISP's site, we learned they now use a different SMTP server, which now uses authentication.

Here's the issue... I use QMail for the email server, and from the configuration options I don't see a way to enter an account and password to go along with the domain, as is required in authentication. So that may be a bitch.

The good news is that the server still seems to be sending mail fine. How I am not sure, and even more puzzled am I to that it is using our old SMTP server, which isn't working for me or Nero in Thunderbird.

So anyhow, can you all tell me if you are receiving email notifications as usual? And if you suspect they drop off, please give me the heads up as I may need to change something on the server to get it working again.

I've changed my settings so all my notifications go to my e-mail instead of my inbox here on TT, so far all everything has been sent fine to me and I haven't noticed any issues.

I've stopped getting e-mails again. Since this isn't new to me, I've reset my spam filter and reconciled with my blackberry again. I changed my password; even, just in case someone might be intercepting through another mobile device or something. But still no luck. Just letting you know.
