[A] No, although doing so automatically makes you an `official member` of Tainted Thoughts. Those who do not contribute to upgrade their accounts are listed as `normal members`.
[Q] How long does the application process take and what is involved with becoming a member?
[A] All applications for membership are approved by admins around the clock. It can take as few as a couple minutes to get approved and be posting items on the site or as long as possibly a day. Generally everyone who applies, and is accepted, can begin within 24 hours.
[Q] What file types are accepted for custom icon uploads?
[A] Only .gif, .png and .jpg files are appropriate to be uploaded as icon files. Please rename "image.jpeg" to "image.jpg" because our script may not recognize your file as proper format if it does not end with ".gif", ".png" or ".jpg". Keep in mind, the image may not exceed 5 kilobytes of disk space for speed and bandwidth purposes.
[Q] What type of files are accepted for image uploads?
[A] When uploading an image, artwork or intro pic, you may only submit a file of the following types: .gif, .png, .jpg, .bmp. Any other format is not permitted for browser compatibility purposes.
[Q] What types of files are accepted for file attachments?
[A] Basically any type of file is permitted, however if you attempt to upload a file from an unrecognized format it's extension will be renamed to ".???". Most standard formats of audio, video and images should work no problem. If you have problems with a specific type of format please contact the staff of the section you are attempting to submit to.
[Q] What limitations are there on content of material that may be submitted and stored on Tainted Thoughts?
[A] We do not believe in censorship and we do not consider anything obscene. Everything is relative to each individuals mind of thinking. We want to allow every individual the ability to express their feelings and creativity without any restrictions on content. Controversial, political, and otherwise "inappropriate" material is welcome here, so long as it is in the proper section. However, you must also keep in mind that section administrators do have the ability to remove and deny submissions. Generally no administrator should ever censor you for content, however, admins do moderate each section to keep everything under control. If an admin doesn't want something in their forum/section then they can remove it. Admins are given this ability to help maintain the site to a higher level. If you feel an administrator is abusing their power, file a complaint and if enough people agree with you, you can have them voted out of their position!

how long does it take for the previous profile song to be cleared so the new song can be played. when I change a profile song, the new information comes up, but the old song plays. just wondering.~~~~~~~~~~
