As I am going through the feature requests this week, I came across one that I would really like your input on.

I will adding a special pane that displays while browsing a section. This area will allow you to customize various filters in order to retrieve custom listings of items.

For example, if you wanted to only view items you've rated, there could be an filter for this. Or maybe, you could easily switch on a filter that displays only tagged/untagged items, or possibly another filter would allow you to only show items by a specific user.

While many of these are technically possible now, there isn't an "all in one" area that lets you set all the filters you want at a single time with ease.

So anyhow, this brings me to my question:

What are some ways you guys think you should be able to filter items while viewing sections or item listings? I'm sure some of you have probably had to have thought there needs to be a way to view only items that meet certain criteria. So what are some of these criteria?

Please give me your input, because I really want to include as many helpful filters for sifting through items as folks would need.

Yeah, that's a really good idea. It will be tricky to do, since it will require checking access on thousands of items, but hopefully I can figure out a way to do it without choking the server, cause it would be very helpful.
