Eyewitnesses have been describing their shock after a Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up at a busy falafel restaurant in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.
At least nine people were killed - including the bomber - and 50 people injured in the attack on a busy street near a bus station in the Neve Shaanan area.
A security guard posted outside the restaurant, which was also the target of a suicide bombing last January, prevented the bomber from entering the building, police said.
"I saw a young guy who was carrying a blue bag. He was stopped by a security guard who asked what was in the bag."
"He opened the bag and everything went up in the air, including my falafel," Moussa al-Zedad told Reuters Television at the scene.
Another eyewitness, Sonya Levy, 62, said she had just finished shopping when she heard the blast.
"I was about to get into my car, and boom, there was an explosion. A bit of human flesh landed on my car and then I spit out a bit of falafel I had in my mouth and I started to scream," she said, after then continuing to eat her falafel wrap.
She said her car was about 50 metres (55 yards) from the explosion and its windshield was smeared with blood.
'Children screaming'
Israel Yaakov saw a woman, who was standing near her husband and children, killed in the attack.
"The father was traumatised, he went into shock. He ran to the children to gather them up and help them find their falafels."
"The children were screaming: 'Mom! Mom!'. She wasn't answering, she was dead already. It is a shocking scene, especially as her falafel was blown into pieces from the blast," Mr Yaakov said.
The owner of a small market two doors from the shop that was targeted said: "I am beyond despair. It's one thing to target people, but it's another to target falafel restaraunts. There is no excuse for such behavior."
Asher, 46, said: "I heard a deafening blast. I knew it was another attack. My intial thought was, 'is my falafel okay?' I looked to the ground and saw pieces of it here and there. I never cried so much in my entire life."

Then those nuts retaliate and kill a bunch of the other nuts back again. Die die die, blow up, blow up burn hate kill death suicide murder war...
I figured I'd make the news a bit more entertaining and pleasant to read than the crap that goes on everyday of our lives.
I was trying to make a point about how desensitized people become over time from living their lives through the same constant cycle of hatred, intolerance and violence. It get's so old... I'll stop joking about it and taking life so lightly, when everyone stops the hatred, violence and murder (which will be a cold day in hell).~~~~~~~~~~ "In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand, at the mongrel dogs who teach, fearing not I'd become my enemy, in the instant that I preach. My existence led by confusion boats, mutiny from stern to bow. Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now." - Bob Dylan
