"M.I.A. is a Boston punk rock band that's been around since late 2000. Fast, angry, yet still semi-intellectual, the music covers topics political and philosophical in a direct unrestrained manner. Being difficult to classify into a sub-punk genre such as pogo-punk or street punk, it's best to just say that it's punk rock and leave it at that."
