Awesome. Makes me wonder if your first and last name sound the same like Lex Luthor or Donnie Darko or something like that. As long as you don't start drawing demonic bunnies and having eerie predictons of the end of the world, we're golden. haha

Yes, I def. think of my mindset as chaotic. This is my "linear explosion" as a result. In fact, a lot of my work is "crazy." Which is fun, right? ha.

The hair in the actual drawing actually doesn't look that shade..in fact, the whole drawing is off on here..since this is a photo, not scanned in, as i mentioned before. The whole drawing is actually much darker.
Yeah, the shadows are weird, but i followed them all..everything i saw..and it was this way b/c i set up a VERY dramatic lighting. They're actually my favorite part...I loved the weird "supervillian"/theatre makeup look they expressed, so I didnt wanna change what the lighting depicted. Eh, I guess it's all a matter of opinion...darn art and it's subjectivenes.

simply amazing. i love the marks but the shadows on the face don't bother me much, except the one on her upper lip.

I really like the colors in this. You're very talented... but I agree with banshee about the shadows on the face. They seem in the wrong places or something.

Yeah..I didn't want it to be naturalistic...and I wanted weird uncomfortable colors..a little strangeness and craziness [which is also what was required of this drawing for my class..that and strong, intriquing use of shadow]. Yeah, I look like someone from Kiss...haha. but I did this in order to look strangely unrealistic, if that helps. Eh.
