I like google too. heck, i actually have been a pretty big google fan back before most folks heard about them and were using ... ehrrr.. altaaaaavistaa.. barf.

anyhow, I think they are a great search engine - in fact the most comprehensive and overall the best.

But it's a bit irritating that they are getting into literally everything these days...

sattelites, movie repositories, film repositories, downloadable content, ebooks, news, weather, web browsers, email, advertisement systems... shit.. its just everything... they are expanding enormously into so many fields that don't really suit them, and really just indicate to me that they are trying to get a nice good grasp on most forms of human communication in general (which is a disturbing thought).

But yeah, I still like them... I just know they are out for world domination.

I still get regular Google if I sign out. In the upper right hand corner, there's the link that says 'Classic Google' or something.. It'll take you back to the normal one.

I use gmail, so I stay signed into Google and I have 'designed' my own homepage, so there's only shit on there that I use. Like I can see the last 10 emails, I have a calendar/clock thing, a local news ticker and a sticky note app where I can just jot down a few things if I need to.

I like Google though. A lot more than Yahoo anyways. Google's been my homepage for about 5 years now.
