"everyone who claims to have some kind of mental sickness like schizophrenia or bipolar" Just to let you know where I might be coming from--My family and professional members of the psychiatric profession have suggested I might be bipolar--but I thought it was just the way I am and I admit I have occasionally felt a more than insignificant bit of pride if I have deviated from what many people might consider normal--regular job, drive a car, planning to have a spouse and raise a family.
When you don't have what many people consider cool--cool car, cool job, etc, thinking you're bipolar or schizo. could be the only thing that fills the void. But totally pretentious poseurs can be tedious so I think I can see where you might be coming from as far as the pretenders go.
